Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the transportation team at a top retail client by partnering closely with leadership and business stakeholders to address defined operational and strategic challenges. In this role, you will take business questions and priorities provided by leadership and identify where those challenges and opportunities are reflected within operational and performance data, using analysis to uncover insights and evaluate potential data‑driven solutions.

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI dashboards, leveraging SQL and Excel to investigate issues, automate reporting, and ensure data accuracy, and supporting forecasting and modeling efforts through Python. The ideal candidate brings prior exposure to logistics or transportation environments, a solid analytical foundation, and the ability to clearly translate complex findings into concise, executive‑level insights that inform decision‑making. Experience with Tableau is considered an asset.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Science + Math, Math, etc.,





-Logistics / systems / transportation background exposure

-5-7 years of Power BI analytic skills (Hands-on experience developing and maintaining PowerBI dashboard)

-Ability to translate complex business challenges into data-driven insights by identifying where issues and opportunities appear in operational and performance data, and clearly articulating actionable, solution‑oriented recommendations.

-Excellent communication skills. Proven experience presenting analytical findings to executive and senior leadership, synthesizing complex data into clear, impactful narratives that support strategic decision‑making.

-Proficient in MS Suite and experience with Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.,) when debugging issues and automating + maintaining reports

-Python for modelling (ability to understand data forecast model build)

-SQL background knowledge

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Tableau in addition to PowerBI would be an asset
