In this intermediate role, you will design and implement instrumentation systems for gas plants and pipelines. Key responsibilities include developing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), preparing specifications, and supporting project costs and scheduling. With an emphasis on effective collaboration, you'll work across disciplines and manage responsibilities on multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and update P&IDs; per project standards • Prepare specifications and material requisitions • Coordinate with vendors on compliance matters • Perform sizing and design calculations for instruments • Maintain accurate instrumentation documentation
Requirements: • 5–10+ years in Instrumentation & Controls engineering • Post-secondary education in relevant fields • EIT or P.Eng designation preferred • Familiarity with engineering codes and standards • Robust communication and problem-solving skills
