Join a multi-disciplinary team as a Specialized Treatment Counsellor. Deliver outcome-driven supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges in a transitional treatment home.
This position requires a compassionate professional to provide specialized support for persons with diverse needs. You'll assist with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and implement behavior support plans. In collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams, your efforts will significantly enhance the quality of life for those served.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily living support to individuals
• Monitor and report behavioral and physical symptoms
• Implement and analyze behavior support strategies




• Prepare and administer medications accurately
• Participate in treatment planning and staff meetings
Requirements:
• Graduate in Developmental Services, Psychology, or Nursing
• Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention required
• Valid G Driving License with transportation responsibility
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with dual diagnoses in challenging environments
