This role entails working closely with project managers in the Ontario GTA Transportation Business Line. You will support financial and change management through all project phases, including budgeting and monitoring risk. Your strategic contributions will help maintain financial stability and adherence to standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and analyze project forecasts with managers • Prepare budgets for new projects and monitor expenses • Evaluate progress regularly to mitigate financial risks • Perform audits and financial reviews for accuracy • Liaise between technical leads and project managers
Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years in project controls with financial analysis • Understanding of project accounting and cost management • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Degree in accounting or related field preferred
