This role requires approximately 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in municipal contexts. You will work closely within a multidisciplinary team, developing comprehensive design solutions and overseeing project execution. Strong project coordination skills coupled with effective communication will be pivotal to your success in this position and guiding junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical distribution systems and layouts • Draft technical specifications and contract documents • Support SCADA system I&C; design and implementation • Conduct field inspections and ensure site compliance • Mentor junior staff and assist project seniors
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering • P.Eng. registration or in progress • Around 7 years of engineering experience required • In-depth knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code • Valid driver’s license with vehicle access
