Lead the design efforts for high voltage substations as an Electrical Engineer. Work on cutting-edge projects throughout North America in a hybrid workplace.
This position is tailored for experienced engineers focused on substations and electrical systems. You will play a key role in coordinating planning activities, conducting in-depth engineering studies, and preparing specifications for key equipment. Your expertise will also include mentoring junior engineers and ensuring strict adherence to quality assurance procedures.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead engineering studies for lightning and insulation protection • Design substations,
including layouts and specifications • Prepare technical documents for major equipment • Assist in proposal preparation and project estimations • Conduct site visits and support construction efforts
Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems focus • At least 6 years of design experience related to substations • P.Eng registration is mandatory • Familiarity with ETAP, MathCAD, and MicroStation • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
