The Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board is seeking an accomplished and visionary
Chief Mental Health Officer (CMHO)
to lead the evolution of the mental health services across our organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this newly established executive role offers a unique prospect to shape strategy, influence system‑level outcomes, and elevate mental health care for workers and workplaces. The CMHO provides senior clinical and operational leadership, ensuring high‑quality, evidence‑informed mental health practices that align with organizational priorities and the SWCB’s mandate. This role is pivotal in advancing mental health outcomes for workers, strengthening partnerships with care providers, and supporting internal employee mental health strategies.
In addition to the following Behavioural & Technical Qualifications (Competencies) the following Education, Experience, Designation/Licenses are job requirements: A Master’s degree or doctorate in Psychology or Specialty in Psychiatry. Registered Psychologist with authorized practice endorsement, or Registered Psychiatrist and a member in good standing of their respective College. A minimum of ten years clinical experience in mental health assessment, treatment, or consultation with at least five years in progressive leadership experience within a health system, insurance or rehabilitation organization would be an asset. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
