Little Perks Barista (Campus Play Studio)

We’re looking for a barista who brings more than just coffee skills — someone who understands hospitality, energy, and ownership in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Little Perks Coffee Co. operates inside The Campus Play Studio, meaning this role plays a key part in the overall guest experience across both the café and the play space.

Role Overview

As a Barista, you are responsible for delivering a high-quality, consistent café experience while supporting the flow, energy, and success of Campus Play. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the confidence to lead and engage guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and café items with consistency and care
- Execute food service and ice cream scooping to a high standard (precision, portions, presentation)
- Confidently engage guests, recommend products, and drive sales in a natural, authentic way
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked café space
- Support front-of-house flow, including baked goods, bagels, and overall guest service
- Work as part of the larger Campus Play team — stepping in where needed to support the full experience
- Take initiative during both busy and slow periods (cleaning, restocking, prep, resets)




- Oversee and execute a premium ice cream offering with high standards and attention to detail

Shift Expectations

- Regular availability for 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM shifts
- Flexibility for evenings and weekends
- Ability to maintain strong energy, focus, and service standards throughout the full shift

What We’re Looking For

- 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, café, or customer-facing roles
- Leadership experience required — someone who takes ownership and leads by example
- A high level of maturity, accountability, and professionalism
- Strong ability to multitask and stay organized in a quick-paced environment
- Someone who is agile, can pivot quickly, and thrives in a dynamic setting
- Confident in selling, suggesting, and engaging guests
- High attention to detail — understands that every product reflects the brand
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support both Little Perks and Campus Play
