Sister Sophie Ltd. (Markham) is seeking an enthusiastic Human Resources administrator. Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin .
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR databases
- Support recruitment processes (posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews)
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Prepare employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation
- Coordinate employee training and development activities
- Track attendance, leave, and employee schedules
- Conduct payroll and benefits administration
- Respond to employee HR-related inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation
- Assist with performance review processes
- Organize HR files, reports, and confidential documents
- Support HR projects and internal initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and data privacy at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
Minimum 1-year experience working as an HR Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar position.
Work experience in an Education Institute Environment, especially an after-school institute, is a robust asset.
Education
A Post-Secondary Education is equivalent to a college diploma or university Degree specializing in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
