Education

University degree in business, management or a related discipline and four years of related experience; OR

Two-year diploma in business, management or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution and

six years of related experience;

OR

One-year certificate in business, management or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution and

seven years of related experience.

Work Experience

10+ years of experience in conducting, facilitating and

interpreting impact and risk assessments

across multiple scenarios.

5+ years of experience in business writing, communication and documentation.

1+ years of experience in

Artificial Intelligence

(e.g., machine learning, NLP).

10+ years of demonstrated knowledge and experience with the contents and application of the

Alberta Health Information Act , including but not limited to supporting the development of related artifacts such as





Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) ,

Security Threat Risk Assessment (STRA) ,

Business Impact Assessment (BIA) .

10+ years of experience in coordinating information management, privacy impact, security risk assessments and compliance within IT projects.

5+ years of experience in developing training materials.

3+ years of experience in developing training plans.

5+ years of experience in change management.

10+ years of experience in information management concepts, privacy, and security issues relating to

ATIA (Access to Information Act)

and

POPA (Protection of Privacy Act) . Previously known as FOIP.

5+ years of experience with the development of information management or related types of policies, standards and practices.

3+ years of hands‑on experience implementing data security and privacy controls, including policies, de-identification/anonymization, and data audits.

1+ years of work experience with Responsible AI principles (e.g., fairness, bias detection, explainability) and conducting risk assessments with mitigation recommendations for senior leadership.
