Responsibilities
As part of the SMH Hospitalist Group, you will function as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) admitting and managing unattached patients and providing supportive care for certain surgical and specialist medical patients. Responsibilities require superior clinical and communication skills and an exceptional bedside manner. The team is committed to the specialty of Hospital Medicine.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: Contract (current contract pays $200.10/hr). Competitive compensation with up to 40% bonus incentive payments (volume, coverage, and quality incentives have been met). Versatile start times and shift lengths, with virtual shifts available.
The typical schedule includes ward-based, admitting, and virtual shifts with a fixed daily workload.

Qualifications
- ACLS, CCFP, CMPA, CPSBC Eligible for Full License, CPSBC Full
- US-trained physicians encouraged to apply; CPSBC – USA certified class of registration acceptable.
