Overview As our next Beauty Services Manager, you will lead the Beauty, Skincare, and Fragrance Studio at AB‑Southgate (0534) in Edmonton. You’ll drive the strategy and execution of 1:1 paid client services, including makeup applications and skincare treatments, and oversee the planning and delivery of in‑store classes and events.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the Beauty Studio, ensuring staffing levels support services and the reservation system.
Leverage technology innovations to elevate client experiences and support the team in providing high‑quality services.
Plan and staff all in‑store events and classes, maximizing learning and sales opportunities.
Develop and certify Beauty Advisors, providing ongoing training and growth opportunities.
Conduct performance management for the Beauty Services team and deliver timely feedback.
Act as Manager on Duty when required, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients.
Qualifications
Minimum 2‑4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service (or equivalent internal experience).
Proven track record of coaching teams to meet company expectations and a passion for training, development, and education.
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience generating business or executing events that connect with community and clients.
Excellent time‑management skills for yourself and your team.
Bonus: background in make‑up artistry or skincare services.
Location & Physical Requirements
On‑site at 5015‑111 Street NW, Edmonton, AB.
Flexible availability to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lb.
Advantages & Compensation Compensation ranges from CAD $54,800.00 to CAD $68,500.00, with potential performance‑based bonuses.
