In this part time role, you will provide a broad range of addiction-related services to clients and their families. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering life skills development, and creating tailored discharge plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure clients receive comprehensive support throughout their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group counselling sessions • Complete addiction-related assessments for clients • Facilitate psycho-educational and life-skills groups • Maintain documentation like progress reports and summaries • Make appropriate referrals to community partners
Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Health/Social Science required • Certification in Addiction Studies from recognized institution • 1–3 years care experience with substance use disorders • Certification in CPR and First Aid required • Knowledge of community resources for addictions support
