The opportunity:

Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the power generation industry for over 50 years. We are currently seeking a talented Production Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will lead and manage all production-related activities for the Switchgear value stream through the Regal Business System which enables continuous improvement throughout the value stream to meet our stakeholders' expectations and enable growth in the business. You will lead Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Performance to exceed our stakeholders' expectations and enable growth in the business. You will play a key role in achieving short- and long-term strategic planning objectives. Main responsibilities:

- Be responsible for the Value Stream and all aspects of manufacturing operations, safety, quality and delivery
- Lead the Value Stream management cadence (daily/weekly/monthly) that drives SQDC for the Site.




- Provide effective leadership, coaching and mentorship for the employees.
- Identify and provide necessary training resources for new employees.
- Lead and engage employees during kaizen events to drive continuous improvement and foster a progressive organization.
- Use Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement tools to solve problems.
- Maintain daily production statistics, including customer demand, past dues, and backlog.

Education, experience and skills:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum five years of experience as a leader in a manufacturing or operations setting.
- Exposure to ETO or CTO manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and bills of materials for distribution systems.
- Ability to use Lean CI tools such as 5S, Std Work, SMED, 3P, VDM, and problem solving.
