Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Technology & Growth Specialist based in Quesnel, BC.

This role is responsible for engaging local businesses, identifying their technology challenges, and driving revenue by recommending and delivering practical IT solutions.

The successful candidate will:

- Build relationships with local businesses through outreach, networking, and follow-ups
- Meet with clients to understand their operational and technology needs
- Recommend solutions such as IT support services, network improvements,



cybersecurity, cloud tools, and website solutions
- Prepare proposals and convert opportunities into paying clients and recurring service agreements
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure successful delivery of solutions
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for ongoing support and upgrades

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging business owners
- Basic understanding of IT systems (networks, computers, cloud tools, or cybersecurity concepts)
- Sales mindset or willingness to learn solution-based selling
- Ability to identify client needs and recommend practical solutions
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a client-facing role
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, IT support, or business development is an asset
- Relevant education in IT, business, or related field is an advantage but not required
