We are currently looking to fill a
full-time, permanent position
for a
Business Intelligence Developer
in our
Procurement Department
at our
Leamington office .
What You'll Do:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business priorities
Develop and maintain scalable data models, semantic layers, and datasets using best practices (star schema, performance optimization)
Own Power BI service administration including workspace management, security (RLS), governance, and deployment pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytics solutions
Build and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) leveraging SQL, dataflows, and integration with enterprise systems
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and validation across reporting solutions
Establish and enforce BI standards, naming conventions, and documentation practices
Monitor report performance and optimize queries, models, and refresh cycles
Support self-service analytics by enabling and training business users
Partner with IT and data engineering teams to improve data architecture and accessibility
Contribute to advanced analytics initiatives including forecasting and scenario modeling
Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements to dashboards and reports.

What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in Power BI development, data modeling, and business intelligence
Advanced expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dataflows, semantic models, performance tuning)
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and large datasets
Experience integrating data from multiple sources (ERP systems, APIs, cloud platforms)
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and BI best practices
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions with minimal oversight
Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with Azure data stack (Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric) is an asset
Experience in agriculture, food production, or supply chain analytics is an asset
What To Expect:
Most of their time in the office – sitting, standing, walking.
There may be an occasional need for some heavy lifting (when needed).
