The Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee day‑to‑day operations on active construction sites. You’ll coordinate trades, ensure safety protocols are followed, keep the schedule on track, and uphold the quality expectations the company is known for.

This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and confident in leading subcontractors and field teams from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead on‑site activities and ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans
- Coordinate trades, suppliers, equipment, and inspections
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, inspectors, and authorities
- Review drawings to identify issues early and maintain project momentum
- Conduct site orientations, toolbox talks,



and regular safety checks
- Monitor schedule milestones and communicate progress with the project team
- Manage site documentation including daily logs, safety reports, and deficiency tracking
- Verify all work meets project specifications and code requirements
- Support field staff with leadership, coaching, and technical guidance
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional job site
- Assist in continuous improvement of site processes and construction execution

Required Experience & Skills

- 5+ years’ experience as a Site Superintendent in commercial or light industrial construction
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, and safety regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar platforms is an asset
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to anticipate issues before they escalate
- Ability to navigate active construction sites, including moving materials up to 50 lbs and working on uneven terrain
- A problem‑solver who thrives in environments where accountability and follow‑through matter
