Teach critical reading and writing skills in a agile in-person course. Engage students with a variety of texts and composition studies at the UofR Saskatoon Campus.
This role focuses on developing students' reading and writing proficiencies through literary and non-literary text analysis. Candidates will need to demonstrate effective teaching strategies supported by evaluations and past syllabi. The course is scheduled for Fridays from 11:30 AM to 2:15 PM, lasting from September to December 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop course curriculum emphasizing critical analysis
• Facilitate engaging discussions and assignments
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues on course materials
• Ensure inclusive classroom dynamics
Requirements:
• M.A. in English or M.F.A. in Creative Writing required
• Proven teaching experience with evaluations and syllabi
• PH.D. preferred for advanced lecturer roles
• Eligible to work legally in Canada
• Experience teaching a minimum of twelve courses
