Support payroll activities as a Payroll and Total Rewards Specialist in a flexible part-time role. Leverage your expertise in Canadian payroll laws and total rewards administration to ensure compliance and drive efficiency.
This position provides vital support to the Global Payroll Shared Services team while delivering expertise on payroll matters. You'll ensure all payroll-related compliance aligns with corporate guidelines and Canadian regulations. A thorough understanding of pension fundamentals, tax regulations, and reporting is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review bi-weekly and monthly payroll prior to approval
• Monitor tax changes impacting payroll calculations
• Advise on taxable advantages and deductions
• Manage local Payroll correspondence effectively
• Support year-end processing and reporting functions
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field
• 5+ years of payroll experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Payroll/HRIS systems like ADP
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll practices
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
