Job Information Location: Markham, ON Position: Electrical Project Engineer Company: EXP Services Inc.
Responsibilities
Responsible for meeting firm’s engineering quality levels for discipline on assigned projects.
Support the project team to develop the Basis of Design (BOD), Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD) that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget, using best practices.
Develop design concepts and ensure proper application and execution.
Verify work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings.
Have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of discipline engineering.
Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
Mentor and encourage development of designer‑level staff.
Write studies and reports on electrical system work.
Contribute to revisions of EXP’s design standards and master specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 4 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree.
Registered Professional Engineer.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) products and electrical design software.
AutoCAD experience required; Revit MEP proficiency desired.
Compensation Salary range: $80.5K - $115K. Actual compensation varies by skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
