Durabuilt Windows & Doors is looking for a Project Estimator/Coordinator to join our team in Edmonton. This dual-impact role is vital to our success, combining technical estimation expertise with the high-level coordination required to deliver excellence to our clients.
What You’ll Do
You will bridge the gap between initial design and final delivery, ensuring every project is feasible, compliant, and accurately accounted for.
- Precision Estimation: Perform accurate takeoffs from drawings and specifications, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the project scope.
- Strategic Coordination: Collaborate with Account Managers to prepare RFIs, RFQs, and proposal presentations for clients.
- Project Leadership: Lead project kick‑off meetings, prepare shop drawings for review, and coordinate with shipping to track ongoing deliveries.
- Contract Management:
Prepare contract packages for executive approval and manage change orders to ensure project success.
- Site Success: Coordinate job site meetings and manage the close-out process, including site walks and documentation of deficiencies.
What You Bring
- Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret blueprints, plans, and contract requirements with a high degree of accuracy.
- Collaborative Spirit: A drive to work across departments to optimize efficiency and ensure estimates are both feasible and attainable.
- Organizational Excellence: Strong record-keeping skills for managing addendums, meeting minutes, and close-out packages.
- Problem‑Solving Skills: The ability to offer suggestions on shop drawing revisions and quality service requests.
