The Planning & Forecast Advisor supports the integration, maintenance, and analysis of the Project Schedule for a large, complex capital project. Working under the Planning & Reporting Lead, the role consolidates schedule updates from multiple workstreams, validates data quality, and prepares structured planning outputs to support project decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

- Support integration of workstream schedules into the overall Integrated Project Schedule.
- Consolidate schedule updates, forecasts, and milestone changes across workstreams.
- Assist with schedule performance analysis, variance identification, and trend assessment.
- Validate schedule and progress data for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with planning assumptions.
- Maintain planning logs, assumption registers, and update trackers.
- Prepare schedule reporting materials, dashboards, KPIs, and progress summaries.
- Ensure timely incorporation of planning inputs into reporting cycles.
- Execute assigned planning tasks within established processes, escalating data gaps when needed.
- Collaborate with planners and project teams while demonstrating strong attention to detail and data discipline.





Required Experience & Skills

- Early‑career experience in project controls, planning, or scheduling; 8+ years in Oil & Gas (LNG preferred).
- Exposure to planning on large capital or mega‑projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills; ability to work across time zones.
- Foundational understanding of schedule logic, milestones, dependencies, and interfaces.
- Ability to perform basic schedule analysis (variance, milestone movement, simple trends).
- Experience validating schedule/progress data and maintaining data integrity.
- Working knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6, Excel, Power BI, with willingness to learn new systems.
- Familiarity with structured reporting templates and planning governance.
