Work Location: Preferbally Calgary

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary SME for Solar Winds Orion and Splunk across production, non-production, and DR environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, reports, and visualizations.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for performance and availability issues.
- Integrate monitoring tools with network devices, servers, applications, cloud platforms,



and third-party systems.
- Tune alerts to reduce noise and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with network, security, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Provide L3support, documentation, and technical guidance.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Solar Winds Orion and Splunk in large enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of network, system, and application monitoring.
- Expertise in Splunk SPL, dashboards, alerts, and reports.
- Experience working in 24x7 production environments with solid stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred:

- Solar Winds and/or Splunk certifications.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and automation/scripting.
- Experience in T&M; or managed services models.
