We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing team building cloud-based systems that power connected, real-world technology.
In this role, you’ll work hands-on across backend development, Kubernetes, and CI/CD while also contributing to system design and mentoring other engineers. This is an opportunity to build scalable services end-to-end and step into a more senior-level role with increasing architectural influence—without moving into people management.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build backend services using .NET / C#
- Develop and support microservices running in Kubernetes environments
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in production
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops or similar)
- Collaborate on system design, scalability, and performance improvements
- Ensure secure and reliable service-to-service communication
- Support and mentor other engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
What You Bring
- 4–7+ years of experience in backend or software engineering
- Strong development experience with C# / .NET
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building or working with distributed or microservices-based systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with authentication/authorization tools such as Keycloak
- Knowledge of certificate management / secure communications (SSL/TLS)
Compensation
$115,000 – $135,000 CAD + bonus
