We’re Hiring: Application Development Manager(Remote – Canada Only)

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of delivery, technology, and team leadership? We’re looking for a Application Development Manager to join our client’s team and lead high-impact software initiatives in a fully remote setting. Must have experience wroking with C# and Payments.

Location: Remote (Canada-based candidates only)

Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 annually

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Director, Application Development Business Solutions, you will lead day-to-day delivery across development teams and drive execution across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

This role blends people leadership, technical depth, and delivery ownership—ideal for someone who can remove roadblocks, ensure quality and security, and stay hands-on when needed.

What You’ll Do

- Lead application development aligned with business goals, architecture, and security standards
- Translate architectural direction into actionable delivery plans
- Own end-to-end SDLC delivery (requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and transition)
- Manage capacity planning, prioritization, and resource allocation
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and timelines
- Remove cross-functional blockers (Infrastructure, Security, QA, Vendors)
- Ensure strong engineering practices (code reviews, branching, quality gates)
- Provide hands-on support (troubleshooting, incident resolution, code review)
- Enforce secure coding and development standards




- Ensure audit readiness (traceability, change control, documentation)
- Coach and develop team members to drive performance and continuous improvement
- Report on delivery progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
- 5–7+ years in application development
- 2–3+ years in a leadership or management role
- Strong experience with SDLC and Agile delivery
- Background in enterprise-level software initiatives
- Experience collaborating with Architects and senior stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of code quality and secure development practices
- Exposure to audit/compliance environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- Experience working with vendors and external partners
