nPosition: E-Learning Designer (Co-op)n
Location: Walkerton, Ontario
n
Hours: 7.5 hour workday Monday to Friday
n
Salary: $17.36 to $23.00
n
Assignment duration: To begin in May or June 2026 for a 4 or 6 month term
n
WCWC is an agency of the Government of Ontario to ensure clean and safe drinking water for the province. WCWC provides education and support to drinking water system owners, operators, operating authorities, First Nations communities and the public. WCWC also provides pilot testing services to help clients with water treatment challenges.
n
We are seeking a qualified post-secondary co-op student to support the e-learning development of WCWC’s Training program. This position supports the e-learning development, design and packaging of WCWC’s training program, including materials and activities.
n
Key Technical Duties:·
n
n
- Assists in the course design including packaging training materials into engaging and visually appealing e-learning format.
n
- Using already developed content, creates interactive activities to augment the e-learning experience, using various e-learning tools and techniques.
n
- Animates already developed content and synchronizes animation with narration or other audio cues.
n
- In addition to e-learning development, occasionally packages course materials used for in-class or instructor-led virtual deliveries.
n
nConditions for the Successful applicant:·n
n
- An official letter from the college certifying enrollment in a minimum of 2nd year of a full-time college program in relevant program.
n
- An official letter from the college certifying successful completion of at least one year (2 terms – Sept. to April) of a minimum 2 year full time college program in relevant program. ·
n
- A minimum completion of one year in a relevant college diploma in e-learning development or relevant field.
n
- This position requires strong software/computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
n
- A valid class G driver’s license (or equivalent) that is not expired, forfeited, or suspended or access to own transportation is required.
n
- This position requires excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
