Woodlands Operations Manager – Full-Time | Leadership Role with Succession Potential

Are you a senior forester, forest operations manager, or experienced woodlands operations manager seeking your next leadership challenge? We have a unique opportunity to step into a Woodlands Operations Manager role, where you'll oversee and manage a small, dynamic team while leading key operations in harvesting, trucking, and road construction/maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead and manage operations in areas such as harvesting, trucking, and road construction/maintenance
- Drive performance in forestry operations, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and sustainable practices
- Manage budgets, plan resources, and oversee day-to-day operations of your team
- Build strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety compliance across teams

Who We Are Looking For:n
- 5+ years of management experience in forestry, woodlands operations, or related fields
- Strong track record of leadership in forestry operations management, including harvesting, trucking,



or road construction/maintenance
- Deep understanding of safety leadership, budgeting, and resource planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team building and collaboration
- Strategic and results-driven, with the ability to influence and lead change management initiatives in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Engineering, Business, or a related field
