Role Description

This is a full time on-site role for a Social Media Manager, based in Calgary, AB. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, optimizing platforms, and managing communications. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring social media channels,



analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring alignment with the organization's mission to promote awareness about electronic recycling and digital equity.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) techniques
- Strong Communication and Writing skills to create compelling and effective messaging
- Experience in developing Content Strategy for social media platforms
- Knowledge of analytics tools to track and improve social media performance
- Familiarity with digital trends and best practices in social media marketing
- Creative thinking and ability to engage a diverse audience
- Experience in non-profit or environmental sustainability sectors would be an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
