This role involves managing permitting activities throughout the engineering phases of significant oil & gas, petrochemical, and power generation projects.
You will provide expert advice on regulatory matters, develop tailored permitting roadmaps, and interface with regulatory agencies.
The position also entails supporting inspections and audits while interpreting relevant policies to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate regulatory and permitting activities during engineering phases
• Prepare and submit applications for various projects
• Develop comprehensive permitting roadmaps compliant with regulations
• Maintain communication with regulatory agencies
• Compile documentation for inspections and audits
Requirements:
• 7–10 years in regulatory and permitting roles
• Experience with major capital projects in energy
• Post-secondary degree in relevant field required
• Knowledge of Canadian regulatory frameworks
• Solid understanding of P&IDs; and general arrangements
