Location: Onsite 5x/week in Cambridge, ON

Rate: $17.60-$18/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for multiple Mechanical Assemblers to join a leading Canadian automation company on a 6 month contract basis. This is a fully onsite position based in Cambridge 5x week. The Mechanical Assembler builds and assembles large automation equipment and machines, including structural frames, precision-mounted components, and motion‑system assemblies for a well known global retail company. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with heavy components, and the ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings for both machinery and automated systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Experience with large assembly including structural frames, mounting components, and system assemblies
- Must be familiar with the different types of fasteners, both Imperial and Metric
- Must have a solid mechanical aptitude

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Has their Crane or Forklift Certification
