About the Role

We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for operations in Canada and the US. This role will partner closely with accounting, operations, supply chain and leadership to drive data-driven decisions, improve cost efficiency, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing finance experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

- Lead annual budgeting, reforecasting, and rolling forecast processes.
- Consolidate financial data and analyze variances between actuals, budget, and forecast, identifying and explaining variances.
- Develop and enhance management reports, dashboards, and KPIs.




- Prepare and update regular monthly management reports to present to senior leadership and operations leaders.
- Review and analyze job costs, gross profit results, and other key financial metrics to identify performance trends.
- Provide cost analysis (both quantitative and qualitative) to company leadership and develop/implement key financial performance indicators.
- Analyze, audit, and improve company systems/software, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the integrity of resulting financial information following generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end accounting work papers for external auditors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the organization’s financial planning and reporting objectives.
- Provide innovative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.

Qualifications

- 5+ years in financial analysis, reporting or related roles, preferably within a manufacturing setting, with 3+ years in a managerial position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA designation required.

Required Skills

- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines.

Pay Range

100k-130k
