What You'll Do

We are seeking a Business Systems Integration Analyst to join our growing technology team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between our production systems, ERP platform (CSB), labeling systems, and reporting tools.

The successful candidate will help streamline system connectivity, automate manual processes, and ensure reliable data flow across operational platforms. This role offers the prospect to work on system integration, automation, and emerging technologies that support operational efficiency and digital transformation within our manufacturing environment.

Vacancy Status: This is an active opening for a newly defined role, created to support increasing system integration and automation needs as our operations continue to grow. We are looking for a candidate to join the team as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Integration & Interface Management

- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ERP (CSB) and internal/external systems including production software, labeling platforms (Bizerba, Videojet), reporting tools, and third-party applications.
- Develop and maintain API-based integrations (REST, SOAP) and middleware solutions to support reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange.
- Monitor system interfaces and proactively troubleshoot integration failures or data discrepancies.
- Maintain documentation of system architecture, integration workflows, and data mapping structures.
- Coordinate technical communications between system vendors and internal teams regarding system interfaces.

Automation & Process Optimization

- Identify manual data processes and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Develop scripts, tools, and workflows using technologies such as SQL, Python, PowerShell, and Power Automate.




- Replace manual CSV uploads and repetitive data processes with structured automation workflows.
- Improve the reliability and performance of production-to-ERP data synchronization.

Data Integrity & Monitoring

- Implement validation controls to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data flowing between systems.
- Develop monitoring dashboards and automated alerts to identify integration anomalies or failures.
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring integration issues and implement long-term corrective solutions.
- Support data governance initiatives to ensure consistency across system interfaces.

Innovation & Digital Enablement

- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and advanced analytics to enhance automation, anomaly detection, forecasting, and operational insights.
- Pilot and implement practical AI-assisted tools aligned with business priorities.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend scalable improvements that support the company’s digital strategy.

Collaboration & Project Support

- Partner with ERP specialists and functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with production, QA, finance, and operations teams to improve system connectivity and reduce data silos.
- Participate in planning and execution of system integration and digital transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to system architecture improvements to enhance scalability, security, and resilience.
- Support special projects and other duties as required.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in a systems integration, automation, or similar technical role.




- Experience working with ERP systems within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience integrating production or operational systems is considered an asset.

Technical Skills

- Strong SQL and database management skills.
- Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Knowledge of JSON / XML data structures.
- Scripting experience such as Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Experience with ERP integrations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Power Automate or middleware platforms.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics tools is considered an asset.
