Overview

Responsibilities

This French Core teaching position requires the instructor to deliver classroom instruction for FSF 1D (one section) and ENG 2D (two sections).

Qualifications

- Candidates must hold French qualifications or meet the Board's language standard for French Core.
- Must be a member in good standing or in the process of becoming Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) qualified prior to the start date.
- Must be enrolled or have completed French as a Second Language (FSL) or equivalent, based on OCT qualifications.
- Must provide at least three skilled, supervisory teaching references for external applicants and two references, one of which must be a YRDSB administrator, for internal applicants.

Salary

- A1-A2 (Steps 0-10): $57,269 – $102,938
- A3-A4 (Steps 0-10): $63,855 – $120,384

Additional Information

The position is French Core. Candidates must meet the Board's language standard. A satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) completed within six months prior to the scheduled start date is required and must be satisfactory to YRDSB.
