Sommaire du poste : Relevant du vice‑président des ventes, le gestionnaire du développement des affaires est responsable de stimuler la croissance du chiffre d’affaires en identifiant,
convertissant et développant de nouveaux comptes. Ce rôle consiste à identifier les principaux décideurs, à coordonner des rencontres clients et à élaborer des solutions stratégiques à valeur ajoutée. Le gestionnaire du développement des affaires vend l’ensemble de la gamme de services, en mettant l’accent sur l’atteinte des objectifs de revenus assignés et la maximisation de la croissance globale des revenus. Key Accountabilities : Deliver $3M of new billed revenue during fiscal year Identify, qualify and penetrate new business opportunities in Canada, USA & Mexico Schedule customer appointments with key decision‑makers to overcome barriers and identify growth opportunities for our Asset‑Based Drayage and Logistics division Educate customers on technology solutions to provide tracking, pricing, and reporting capabilities Collaborate with Operations to establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for meeting customer expectations Plan quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with customers to review business trends and performance Apply sales strategies gained from sales training to identify areas where Fastfrate can be implemented Participate in joint customer calls with peers and counterparts to promote our Supply Chain capabilities Generate sales leads by networking, cold‑calling prospects and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy Create sales strategies by gathering market information,
analyzing opportunities and documenting sales methodology Prepare and present presentations to prospective clients Maintain accurate customer files Work with Operations to address issues with scheduled shipments Other related duties may be required Qualifications – Education & Experience : Minimum of secondary education; post‑secondary education (business or sales) preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Intermodal sales experience LTL & FTL sales experience Operational knowledge of the transportation sector (asset‑based) an asset Minimum of 3‑5 years experience in sales Experience in an environment with assets (asset‑based) is an asset Solid network and client base to demonstrate success selling with asset‑based or 3PL workplace Bilingual French/English, both verbal and written Clear criminal background check prior to employment Valid driver's license and access to vehicle Skills & Attributes : Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to resolve problems promptly Tact, courtesy and diplomacy essential when dealing with current and prospective customers Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proven experience selling assets & freight brokerage sales, with a strong desire to grow professionally Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Windows environment Business development focus Strong customer relationship skills Ability to work with CRM (Salesforce) Ability to manage deadlines in a high‑transaction volume environment Ability to champion business needs collaboratively Results focused Compensation : Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000.
