Position
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Digital Content & Engagement Specialist to join our Business Services team. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent graduate who is looking to build a career in digital communications, content creation, and marketing support. This role plays a key role in shaping and maintaining our company’s digital presence across public websites, internal platforms, marketing materials, and other digital touchpoints.
This role is to be located in any one of our major service centers in Canada, with preference for our Nisku (Edmonton region), Surrey, Stoney Creek, or Quebec city service centers. There is the potential to move to a hybrid arrangement after a probationary period.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to Director, Business Services, the successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to create and ensure content is accurate, professional, and aligned with our brand standards. This role offers hands-on exposure to website content management, vendor marketing collaboration,
visual content assembly, internal communications, marketing, and future digital engagement initiatives.
Role And Key Responsibilities
- Digital Content Creation & Website Support: Create, assemble, and format digital content for our website(s) and Intranet / internal communication platforms
- Combine text, images, and vendor-supplied assets into professional, brand-compliant content
- Edit and optimize images for digital use
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across digital content
- Translate all content into French (bilingualism preferred but not required)
- Marketing & Internal Communications Support: Create and develop digital marketing materials, brochures, presentations, and internal documents
- Coordinate updates to internal templates and brand assets
- Assist with campaign execution and content preparation
- Vendor & Asset Coordination: Work with vendor partners to collect and manage product images and marketing materials
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries
- Ensure proper file naming, version control, and brand compliance
- Brand & Quality Control: Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, and visual standards
- Proofread content for grammar, accuracy, and professionalism
- Ensure alignment with corporate branding guidelines
- Future Digital Engagement (Growth Prospect): Support emerging digital engagement initiatives
- Assist with potential future social media content development
- Contribute ideas to improve digital presence and customer engagement
- Support analytics tracking and reporting as digital initiatives expand
Preferred Education & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field, or 3 years equivalent experience in a related field
Required Skills
- Proficiency with digital content tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms)
- Experience in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as proven problem solving and analytical skills
- The ability to work self-directed
- Work in a collaborative manner with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to develop new processes and drive process improvements with clear improvement results
- Able to work in a team environment and utilize all available resources
