We are looking for a Casual Registered Nurse to excel in providing maternal care to families. This role emphasizes patient education and multidisciplinary collaboration, all within a supportive community clinic environment.
You will rotate through Maternal Fetal Medicine clinics, handling the care of expectant families and ensuring compliance with CRNA standards. This position involves assessing patient needs, administering tests, and delivering key support services in a nonjudgmental manner, enhancing the overall patient experience. Your commitment to compassionate care will be vital in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and educate expectant families in outpatient settings
• Provide professional telephone support to patients and healthcare partners
• Administer and interpret non-stress tests accurately
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams
• Maintain adherence to confidentiality protocols
Requirements:
• At least 2 years in labor & delivery or obstetrical nursing
• Valid professional registration in Alberta
• Preferred nursing degree and CPR certification
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient workplace
