Erskine Park & Blacktown | Private Practice Model | Flexible Contractor Role
About Us
At Your Speech Room, we have spent the past ten years building a practice grounded in integrity, compassion and meaningful relationships. This year we proudly celebrate our tenth anniversary, marking a decade of caring for both our clients and our team.
We are an established, clinic-based paediatric practice with consistent referrals and strong community trust. Our rooms are modern, fully equipped and stocked with comprehensive assessments and high-quality therapy resources, allowing clinicians to focus purely on delivering exceptional care.
Our clinic is built around people, not numbers. There are no KPIs, no billable hour targets and no expectation to fill every gap in your diary. We prioritise meaningful therapy and support our clinicians with trust, flexibility and professional autonomy.
The Opportunity
This role is designed for a Speech Pathologist with at least 12 months of experience who is ready for more flexibility, autonomy and ownership in their career. Operating within our private practice contractor model, this position offers the freedom of running your own caseload and managing your own schedule, without the overheads, administrative burden or financial risk of starting a business alone.
You benefit from:
- Consistent referrals and established client demand
- Full administrative support
- Fully equipped therapy rooms and assessments
- A respected brand with a 10-year reputation
- Mentorship and collegial support when needed
This is ideal for clinicians who want independence without isolation. It may be particularly suited to mothers returning to work who want flexibility around family commitments,
or motivated clinicians who value autonomy and prefer not to be micromanaged.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering evidence-based intervention across speech, language, social communication, AAC and literacy
- Building strong, long-term relationships with families
- Collaborating with colleagues when desired, while maintaining professional independence
What We Offer
- Flexible contractor arrangement
- Strong earning potential
- No KPIs or session quotas
- Dedicated, fully equipped therapy room
- Access to comprehensive assessments and therapy resources
- Supportive and experienced team culture
- Clinic-based role only
About You
- 12 months experience as a Speech Pathologist (preferable)
- New graduates are considered for this position and will be provided with appropriate support and mentorship
- Confidence managing your own caseload
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A desire for flexibility and professional autonomy
- Eligibility for relevant professional registration
- Current Speech Pathology Australia registration is required for this role
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency with appropriate work rights
You are self-motivated, responsible and take pride in delivering high-quality care. You value freedom in your work, but also appreciate being part of a supportive team.
Our Vision for You
Our vision for you is to experience the professional freedom of private practice with the stability of an established clinic behind you. We want you to feel trusted, empowered and supported as you grow — building a sustainable career that aligns with both your qualified ambitions and your personal life.
