Elevate patient care as a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Excelling in general and cardiac ultrasound procedures, you will conduct examinations while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
In this role, you will report to the Supervisor/Site Coordinator, performing a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetrical, and echocardiography. Your tasks involve patient preparation, data entry, conducting tests, and participating in departmental projects. You will also assist in interventional procedures and assess the technical quality of images with radiologists and cardiologists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients and review requisitions for testing
• Conduct ultrasound procedures using Doppler techniques




• Assist in procedural rooms and interventional tasks
• Monitor patients during examinations and manage emergencies
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control checks
Requirements:
• Graduate of recognized sonography program
• Certified with Sonography Canada or ARDMS
• IV therapy training or equivalent experience
• Proficient in sonography procedures and imaging technology
• Solid communication and independent working skills
