We’re growing — and we’re looking for a sharp, driven Senior Estimator who knows how to win work, build strong trade coverage, and price projects properly.

The Role

This is not a passive or “back office” estimating role. We need someone who is:

- Hungry and proactive
- Technically solid with real field understanding
- Customer and results-driven

You will lead estimating and pre-construction efforts across multiple projects, working closely with executive leadership, project management, and business development teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadfull-cycle estimating and pre-construction process
- Prepare, review, and finalize detailed cost estimates from conceptual through tender stage
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and detailed scope analysis
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and identify risks, gaps, and constructability issues
- Manage subcontractor solicitation, pricing, and leveling
- Build and maintain strong vendor and subcontractor relationships
- Lead tender closings, bid strategy, and pricing positioning
- Support subcontract buyout and contracting process
- Participate in client meetings, presentations,



and value engineering
- Collaborate with internal teams on budgeting, general conditions, and project strategy
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Junior Estimators & Estimating Coordinators
- Assist/support in the development and improvement of various internal estimating systems and processes

What You Bring

- 5–10+ years of Canadian estimating experience in ICI construction, with a proven track record delivering accurate and competitive pricing across premium interiors, ground-up builds, and industrial projects.
- Deep, practical understanding of Ontario construction pricing, including trade scopes, unit rates, market conditions, and cost drivers — you price with confidence, not assumptions
- Strong experience across: Premium interior fit-outs, Ground-up ICI construction projects, Industrial construction projects, Public tendering environments (preferred)
- Solid working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and its impact on scope, pricing, and compliance
- Advanced capability in:
- Detailed quantity take-offs — fast, exact, and complete
- Scope review, gap analysis, and risk identification
- Cost planning from conceptual budgeting through to final tender submission
- Strong understanding of delivery models including: Lump Sum,



Construction Management / Design-Build, Cost Plus, etc
- Highly skilled in interpreting drawings and specifications, with the ability to quickly identify constructability issues, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities
- Well-established subcontractor and vendor network, with the ability to drive engagement and secure reliable, competitive pricing
- Proven ability to level, analyze, and negotiate trade pricing to build complete, tight, and competitive bids
- Clear, confident communicator — capable of presenting estimates, defending numbers, and contributing to strategic bid positioning
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable, with strong ownership over deliverables and outcomes
- Experience working with industry-standard tendering platforms (i.e Procore Tendering)

Assets:

- Gold Seal Certification (Estimating)
- Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation
