Opportunity
Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Generation (Energy subsector, ERI – Energy, Resources & Industry). You will work on projects ranging from upstream and downstream oil and gas to renewable energy markets, designing, engineering and innovating for a low‑carbon future. Position is open to candidates across Canada, with a preference for BC and AB offices.
Your Impact
- Deliver senior‑level electrical engineering for medium and large power generation projects and energy projects; design basis development, equipment selection, detailed design and field implementation.
- Lead client and stakeholder engagement to clarify needs, define scope and ensure alignment through all project phases.
- Guide multidisciplinary coordination to support cost control, scheduling, procurement, reporting and construction support activities.
- Develop feasibility studies, technical reports and conceptual design packages.
- Review, stamp and approve drawings and documents while ensuring compliance with codes, standards and client requirements.
- Specify equipment from first principles and apply simulation tools and internal engineering models.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers, building a collaborative learning environment.
- Manage scope, schedule, change control and deliverables in alignment with project execution plans.
- Uphold and promote corporate and client procedures, contributing to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
- Provide senior support on negotiation of critical engineering issues and contribute to proposal development.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- University degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Active P.Eng registration within your province of practice.
- Minimum 10+ years of EPCM electrical engineering experience with strong experience in Power Generation projects.
- Proven success in a Lead Engineer capacity, guiding teams through complex project execution.
- Strong technical depth across electrical systems design, field operations and engineering analysis tools.
- Ability to independently manage projects, drive outcomes and support multi‑discipline collaboration.
- A passion for developing others and contributing to a high‑performance engineering culture.

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $135,200 – $179,100
- MB & ON: $123,300 – $169,800
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $114,900 – $154,800
