Overview

Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Litigator with 5+ years of experience to handle a diverse workload. The ideal candidates will have a robust background in general litigation and construction law, excellent advocacy skills and a proven track record of success in representing clients in complex litigation matters.

Responsibilities

- Manage a workload of commercial construction litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Conduct legal research, analysis and drafting of pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on various construction law issues, including contract disputes, payment disputes, and construction defects
- Collaborate with partners,



associates, and support staff to efficiently handle client matters and achieve successful outcomes
- Stay current with developments in construction law and litigation practices to ensure the highest level of representation for clients

Qualifications

- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients
