Become a vital part of workplace safety as an EHS & Medical Advisor. This hybrid role combines Environmental Health & Safety leadership with onsite medical response, ensuring a compliant and safe setting.
This position supports operations by developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs. You’ll lead inspections and audits, while serving as the primary onsite medical responder. Collaborate with site leadership to ensure compliance with Alberta's regulations and certification standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop EHS programs specifically for Calgary operations
• Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Support compliance monitoring and documentation
• Administer first aid and coordinate emergency care
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Advanced Care Paramedic certified
• Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety required
• 4+ years' experience in industrial safety environments
• Knowledge of Alberta OHS regulations
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
