You will play a crucial role in delivering professional nursing services in line with the established standards. This position entails working closely with a Registered Nurse, revising procedures, and ensuring that the care needs of residents are met. Working with a diverse healthcare team, you will also need to communicate significant health changes directly to physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on policy implementation and procedure revision
• Communicate effectively with physicians and team members
• Provide care direction to Personal Support Workers
• Ensure all team members are informed of resident status
• Monitor and address changes in residents’ health
Requirements:
• Background in rehabilitation or geriatric nursing
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
• Familiarity with relevant health regulations
• Strong understanding of the Nursing Home operations
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
