Project Management Officer (PMO)
Location: Hyderabad
Experience Required: 8–10+ years
Qualification: BE/BTech (master’s preferred)
We are looking for a proactive and organized Project Management Officer (PMO) with robust experience in solar EPC projects to support the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of utility‑scale and/or rooftop solar installations. The PMO will be responsible for establishing project governance, coordinating with cross‑functional teams, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement standardized project management processes and documentation across EPC projects.
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks including templates, workflows, and reporting formats.
- Conduct project audits and reviews to ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and safety requirements.
- Monitor day‑to‑day project activities and ensure alignment with project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Support project managers with planning, resource allocation, cost tracking and risk identification.
- Coordinate across engineering, procurement, logistics, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track project progress, cost performance (CAPEX) and milestones.
- Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders including clients, vendors and senior management.
- Maintain detailed records for project documentation, change orders and status updates.
- Identify risks early and support mitigation strategies across engineering, procurement and construction phases.
- Track project issues, delays or scope changes and work with project leads to resolve them promptly.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, quality protocols and local regulatory requirements.
- Lead post‑project reviews and lessons learned exercises.
- Support the implementation of process improvements across the EPC project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the development of project management tools and internal knowledge bases.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
- Advanced Excel and project tracking tools (Power BI, Smartsheet).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, PVsyst, SCADA systems and basic electrical drawings is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel to project sites across regions.
- Knowledge of permitting, grid connection and local construction codes.
