This role, stationed in the Diagnostic Imaging department, entails performing ultrasound exams as directed by Physicians. You will be responsible for efficient patient management and diagnostic file oversight, ensuring quality service delivery. The position demands effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, fostering teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ultrasound services as per clinical guidelines
• Manage patient examination requests and diagnostics
• Maintain accreditation standards for ultrasound practices
• Oversee equipment and supply management
• Develop cooperative relationships with healthcare teams
Requirements:
• Graduated from an accredited Ultrasound program
• Active registration with Sonography Canada required
• CPR training in accordance with policies
• Experience in patient care preferred
• Valid Manitoba driver’s license for travel
