About the Opportunity

Our client operates in the specialized sector of moisture management solutions, temporary environmental control, and digital monitoring technologies applied to construction and industrial environments. The organization is experiencing sustained growth and is looking to strengthen its strategic presence in the Greater Montreal region.

The territory primarily covers the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area but also includes the lower mainland as a whole.

Reporting to the Unit Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving profitable external sales growth and achieving annual revenue targets.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will adopt a consultative, solutions-based approach to identify business opportunities and propose tailored strategies related to moisture management, temporary environmental control, and advanced digital monitoring solutions within the construction and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Grow market share within the assigned territory by promoting expertise in moisture control, temporary climate solutions, and advanced digital monitoring services
- Conduct sales calls and engage key stakeholders, including general contractors, project managers, architects, engineers, property owners, and facility managers




- Identify opportunities and develop customized mitigation and monitoring strategies
- Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals for moisture management projects and digital monitoring deployments
- Achieve established sales and gross margin targets within the territory
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to increase brand visibility and market positioning
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting new accounts
- Establish a strong territorial presence, with particular emphasis on innovative digital solutions and proactive risk management

Profile

- Relationship‑oriented professional with a positive and proactive attitude
- Self‑directed and organized, capable of managing priorities effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Strategic mindset with understanding of industry standards and applicable construction or restoration codes
- Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience in construction, industrial services, restoration, or related sectors
- Strong commitment to customer service and client success
- Availability for occasional overnight travel (approximately 10%)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems

Assets

- Knowledge of moisture dynamics, psychrometric principles, or environmental control applications
- Familiarity with remote monitoring technologies, IoT sensors, or digital dashboards
- Experience in specialized equipment rental, construction services, or restoration industries
