? Infrastructure IT Project Manager

Enterprise Infrastructure Build & Modernization | Contract

We’re supporting a major infrastructure initiative where technology is being built from the ground up. This is not a maintenance role—this is a hands-on delivery leadership opportunity where you will drive the end-to-end implementation of core IT infrastructure across a new or expanding environment.

Location: Remote

Duration: 6–12 month contract (robust likelihood of extension)

?️ What You’ll Be Responsible For

- Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects (network, servers, cloud, end-user setup)
- Coordinate the build and deployment of:
- Structured cabling, network hardware, wireless access points
- Internet connectivity, firewalls, routing & switching
- Server environments (on-prem and/or cloud)
- Drive project planning, timelines, and execution across multiple workstreams
- Manage cross-functional teams including:
- Network engineers
- Infrastructure specialists
- Vendors and third-party providers
- Oversee procurement, installation, configuration,



and testing phases
- Ensure alignment with security, scalability, and operational readiness
- Lead cutover, go-live, and transition to support (BAU)
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations

? What You Bring

- 7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager with strong infrastructure focus
- Proven track record delivering:
- Network deployments
- Infrastructure builds / site rollouts
- Data center or cloud migrations
- Strong understanding of:
- LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Server environments and virtualization
- Experience working in:
- Managed Services (MSP) or consulting environments (highly preferred)
- Ability to translate technical requirements into executable project plans
- Comfortable managing vendors, budgets, and timelines in fast-paced environments
- PMP or equivalent certification is an asset
