Elevate youth lives as an Evening Program Team Lead! This role focuses on implementing trauma-informed care and building relationships to support young individuals facing homelessness in a dynamic environment.
In this critical leadership position, you will oversee direct care for young adults aged 18-29 experiencing homelessness. You'll utilize your 3-5 years of experience to facilitate house meetings, administer crisis management, and provide motivational interviewing. Cultural awareness and principles of harm reduction are essential in fostering a safe and supportive community for participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate monthly house meetings for participants
• Create a secure environment using trauma-informed approaches
• Assist with crisis intervention and support staff
• Ensure alignment with agency's practice guidelines
• Monitor documentation and participant files
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a related field
• 3-5 years of experience with at-risk youth
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED 'C' certification
• Valid Class 4 or 5 Driver’s License
• Recent criminal record and intervention record checks
