This role involves proactive support for the Equipment Breakdown line of business and mentoring junior underwriters to enhance their skills and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess complex new and renewal underwriting submissions
• Analyze loss potential and exposure levels
• Build solid relationships with brokers through regular visits
• Promote retention opportunities across Commercial Lines
• Coach and mentor junior and intermediate underwriters
Requirements:
• 5+ years of insurance or underwriting experience
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills
• Customer-focused with effective communication
• Analytical and strategic decision-making abilities
• CIP designation in progress or completed preferred
