Azure Consultant II

Location: This is a fully remote opportunity based in Canada.

Salary: 100-120k base + bonus

About The Role

We’re currently seeking a passionate Azure Sr. Engineer to join our Public Cloud consulting team. Our team focuses primarily on Apps & Infrastructure, and we take on projects that range from large‑scale workload migrations, to helping companies design, build and operationalise their Enterprise‑scale Azure environment, to helping clients plan and execute their cloud and security roadmap.

As a Consultant II You Will

- Lead design workshops to capture design decisions based on customer requirements.
- Lead small teams in deployment efforts of cloud solutions, including enterprise‑scale landing zones, cloud‑native application deployments, data centre migrations, security and identity/access management, and disaster recovery.
- Produce high‑quality as‑built and handover documentation.
- Work autonomously to deliver projects to our customers.




- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of client environments to identify opportunities for Azure adoption and optimisation.
- Create infrastructure as code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Design and implement Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, and security.
- Be Amb­ITious: Bring hunger, heart and harmony to Insight and unlock continuous opportunities to upskill, earn promotions and elevate your career.

What We’re Looking For

- Solid understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Azure governance and security are concepts that come naturally to you.
- Understanding of cloud‑native operations and DevOps.
- Experience refactoring applications to cloud‑native constructs for Azure migrations.
- Experience with cloud automation and IaC template deployments to Azure (PowerShell, Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
- Demonstrated project delivery, autonomy, and time‑management skills.
- Excellent communicator and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Ability to communicate in both English and French, written and verbal, is a plus.
